Who we are
This site is the Platinum Edge Tutoring (PET) learning platform at app.platinumedgetutoring.com. PET is an education services company that runs tutoring and college access programs for families. Questions about this policy can go to info@platinumedgetutoring.com.
What we collect
Your email address and name, the programs you have joined, and your progress through lessons: which lessons you opened and completed, and when. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email address with us. We do not receive your Google password, and we do not read your Gmail, Drive, or contacts.
How we use it
We use this information only to sign you in, show you the programs you belong to, and run those programs. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Who can see it
You can see your own information and the programs you joined. PET program staff can see who has joined a program and their lesson progress so they can support you. Other families cannot see your information.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the platform: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (website hosting), Resend (sign-in emails), and Google (optional sign-in). They process data only to provide their service to us.
What you should not enter
Please do not enter Social Security numbers, FSA IDs, passwords, income details, or immigration status into this platform.
Students and families
Some people who use this platform are students. A parent or guardian can contact us at any time to ask what we hold about their child, or to have it removed.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete your information by emailing info@platinumedgetutoring.com. If you sign in with Google, you can also remove this app's access in your Google Account settings.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
